Common questions
Do I need FMSCI sanctioning to run a karting event in India?+
FMSCI sanctioning is required for INKC rounds and any karting event that feeds national rankings. Club leagues, weekend leagues at private circuits, college events and corporate karting days do not need FMSCI sanctioning. RRS runs both modes — sanctioned championship or open league — on the same platform.
How does RRS handle heats, semis and finals progression?+
RRS auto-generates heat groupings from the entry list, runs the heat → semi-final → final progression with transponder timing, applies tie-breakers per the championship regulations, and updates live brackets on the spectator app round-by-round.
What timing systems does RRS support for karting?+
RRS integrates with the transponder timing systems used at Indian karting circuits including Meco Kartopia (Bengaluru) and Kari Motor Speedway (Coimbatore). Lap times, sector splits and championship points are pushed live; raw timing data is preserved for stewards' audit.
