Common questions

Do I need FMSCI sanctioning to run a rally?+

INRC and regional rally championship rounds require FMSCI sanctioning. Club TSDs, treasure hunts and corporate / college rally formats are routinely run as open events without sanctioning. RRS handles both — same engine, sanctioned or open.

How does RRS handle special stages, time controls and recce?+

RRS captures recce-day slots, runs time-control input on tablet at every TC, applies time penalties per the supplementary regulations and ranks crews by total stage time across the rally. Marshal logs and incident records are timestamped and audit-ready.

What timing systems does RRS support for rally?+

RRS works with start / finish beam timing at each special stage and digital time-control input at every TC. Crew positions are tracked live across the route, with stage-by-stage results published to the spectator app and the federation pack auto-generated post-event.
