Track Days

Track day software for India — sessions, lap timing, lap reports.

For circuit operators running open track days at Madras International Circuit, Kari Motor Speedway and Buddh International Circuit — registration, experience grouping, session scheduling, lap timing and per-driver lap reports. The same engine that runs FMSCI championships, scaled to the lighter open-event mode.

How a track days weekend works with RRS

  1. 1
    Pre-event

    Entries, experience grouping, session schedule

Online entries with vehicle declaration and self-declared experience group, FMSCI licence capture where the operator requires it, indemnity, payment. Session schedule per group published ahead of time.

  2. 2
    Event day

    Tech check, paddock, sessions

Tablet-based tech / scrutineering, paddock allocation, session-by-session run order. Transponder timing feeds laps live, RRS pushes session brackets to the spectator app for personal benchmarking.

  3. 3
    Post-event

    Lap reports, archive, follow-up

Per-driver lap reports auto-generated (best lap, average, consistency), reports emailed out, archives kept for the next track day.

Common questions

Do I need FMSCI sanctioning to run a track day?+

No — track days are open events at private circuits and don't need FMSCI sanctioning. Drivers / riders typically self-declare experience level and run timed sessions for personal benchmarking, not for championship points.

How does RRS handle track-day session schedules and best-lap reporting?+

RRS schedules sessions by experience group (novice / intermediate / advanced), captures lap times via the circuit transponder system, publishes best-lap reports per driver and pushes session-by-session brackets to the spectator app.

What does RRS handle on the operational side of a track day?+

Online registration with experience declaration, FMSCI licence capture where the operator requires it, indemnity, scrutineering for tech, paddock allocation, session schedule per group, lap timing and post-event lap reports per driver — all in one workspace.
