Crews tackle special stages with marshals capturing obstacle attempts, winching events and time penalties on tablet; RRS ranks crews by total score across all stages, enforces safety windows and pushes class brackets to the spectator app stage-by-stage.

Final classification per class auto-published, championship points fed into the engine where applicable, FMSCI documentation pack auto-generated for sanctioned events.
Common questions
Do I need FMSCI sanctioning to run an off-road event?+
FMSCI sanctioning is required if the event feeds a national or regional 4×4 / off-road championship. Club off-road days, OEM 4×4 expeditions and one-off promoter trials are routinely run as open or FMSCI-approved open events with a Sanctioning Permit.
How does RRS handle special-stage scoring, obstacle penalties and safety?+
RRS scores per special stage / obstacle, captures penalty points for failed attempts, winching and time penalties, ranks crews by total score across all stages and tracks crew location across the route. Safety windows between vehicles are enforced and marshal logs are timestamped.
What hardware does RRS need for an off-road event?+
Tablets at every special-stage start / finish and at the marshal posts — that's it. RRS doesn't require permanent timing infrastructure on the off-road route. Where stage timing is used, beam-break timing at the start / finish gate ties into the same RRS pipeline.
