Karting in Bangalore — circuits, championships, how to race.
Bengaluru has a strong karting scene split between casual arrive-and-drive tracks inside the city and structured championship racing at Meco Kartopia in Bidadi. RRS is based in Bengaluru and runs the championship side.
What this looks like in practice
Championship karting in Bengaluru runs in classes by engine, age and chassis spec, with scrutineering, paddock allocation, parc fermé control, transponder timing and championship points across rounds. Corporate and brand karting days run on the same venues with simplified rules.
Where it actually happens
- Meco KartopiaBidadi, Bengaluru, Karnataka (~40 km from city)
The main outdoor karting circuit for the Bengaluru area. Hosts club, championship and corporate karting days.
How to take part
For championships and structured events RRS runs, enter through the Rehz Motorsports app — it handles class, FMSCI licence (or one-event licence), scrutineering, indemnity and payment. For casual arrive-and-drive sessions, contact the venue directly — that's not what RRS handles.
Who runs it (and where RRS fits)
Championships are organised by FMSCI-affiliated clubs and promoters. RRS supplies the race-ops platform and crew — registration, scrutineering, paddock, parc fermé, timing, championship points and reporting — for organisers running events at Meco Kartopia and other Bengaluru-area circuits.
Common questions
Where can I go karting in Bangalore?+
The main outdoor karting circuit in the Bengaluru area is Meco Kartopia in Bidadi, around 40 km from the city. There are smaller indoor / arrive-and-drive karting tracks inside Bengaluru itself. RRS runs structured karting championships and corporate days at Meco Kartopia.
What's the difference between arrive-and-drive karting and a karting championship?+
Arrive-and-drive is a paid-per-session experience with rental karts — fun, no commitment. A karting championship is a multi-round series with class structure, timing, scrutineering, FMSCI licences (where applicable) and championship points. RRS operates the championship side.
Do I need an FMSCI licence to race karts?+
For FMSCI-sanctioned national karting championship rounds — yes, in the right class. For club-level or open events, a one-event licence is usually enough. RRS captures all of this in the entry flow.
I want to run a karting championship out of Bangalore — can RRS help?+
Yes — this is one of our most active formats. We run championship rounds at Meco Kartopia and other Bengaluru-area circuits, and the same engine handles class management, timing, paddock, parc fermé, points and reporting. Talk to us.
