Supercar track days in India — what's actually true.
Almost every supercar track day in India is a private event — organised by owners' clubs or automobile OEMs for their customers, dealers, employees or media. There are very few public-ticketed supercar track days, and RRS does not sell tickets to any. What we do is run the operations side for the clubs and brands that organise these days.
What this looks like in practice
Closed circuit at MIC, BIC or Kari. Scrutineering, run groups by experience, instructor-led sessions for novices, optional timing, secured paddock car parking, branded hospitality where applicable, photography. RRS handles the full operational stack; production goes via long-trusted partners.
Where it actually happens
- Madras International Circuit (MIC)Chennai, Tamil Nadu
FIA Grade 2. Most common supercar track day venue in India — layout and runoff suit high-speed cars.
- Buddh International Circuit (BIC)Greater Noida, Uttar Pradesh
Former F1 circuit. Used for high-end OEM supercar days when available.
- Kari Motor SpeedwayCoimbatore, Tamil Nadu
National-level circuit. Tighter layout — used for technical supercar days.
- MMRTChennai, Tamil Nadu
India's original purpose-built circuit. Used for owners' club track days.
How to take part
If you're a supercar owner — join a multi-brand owners' club or your single-brand owners' club. They organise the track days. RRS does not sell public tickets to supercar track days. If you're an OEM or club organising one — talk to us. We are the paid operations partner.
Who runs it (and where RRS fits)
Supercar track days in India are organised by owners' clubs (single-brand and multi-brand) and by automobile OEMs for their customer, dealer, employee or media programmes. RRS is the operations partner: format design, run groups, scrutineering, timing, paddock, parc fermé, gate, results. We do not sponsor, do not co-organise, do not manage brand creative or PR, and do not operate vehicle R&D / instrumented data capture. Engineering stays with the brand.
Common questions
Are there public supercar track days in India where I can buy a ticket?+
Honest answer: there are very few open-to-public supercar track days, and RRS does not sell tickets to any. What does happen regularly is private supercar track days organised by owners' clubs (multi-brand and single-brand) and by automobile OEMs for their customers, dealers or media. Entry to those is through the club or brand, not through a public ticket sale.
Where do supercar track days happen in India?+
At the four real circuits — Madras International Circuit (Chennai, FIA Grade 2), Buddh International Circuit (Greater Noida, former F1), Kari Motor Speedway (Coimbatore) and MMRT (Chennai). MIC and BIC are the most common venues for true supercar pace because of layout and runoff.
What does a private supercar track day involve?+
Closed circuit, scrutineering, run groups by experience, instructor-led sessions for novices, optional timing, paddock with secured car parking, hospitality, photography. RRS handles operations end-to-end; production (lights, stage, AV, hospitality build) goes via long-trusted partners.
We're an automobile OEM or owners' club planning a supercar track day — can RRS run it?+
Yes. This is exactly the kind of work RRS is built for. We don't co-organise, we don't sponsor, we don't manage brand creative or PR — we are paid for operations: format design, run groups, scrutineering, timing, paddock, parc fermé, gate, results, plus production coordination via partners. NDAs supported. One point of contact end-to-end. See /brand-activations and /oem-track-day-software for the full scope.
